Position Overview

• We are seeking a Mobile App Development Assistant to support our mobile app developer in building, maintaining, and improving the Quick Collect mobile app.
• The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate on app development projects, testing, and troubleshooting.
• This role is perfect for someone with strong experience in mobile app development who wants to work closely with a lead developer, learn on the job, and contribute meaningfully to the company’s mobile platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the mobile app developer in designing, coding, and testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Collaborate on new feature development, bug fixes, and app optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality app performance.
• Help maintain app documentation, release notes, and version updates.
• Support integration with third-party APIs, fintech services, and backend systems.
• Monitor app performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Assist with deploying app updates to app stores and internal testing environments.
• Stay current with mobile development trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of experience in mobile app development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter).
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, APIs, and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with testing frameworks, debugging, and app performance optimization.
• Ability to read and write code in relevant languages (Swift, Kotlin, Java, Dart, or JavaScript).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with the lead developer and other teams.
• Familiarity with app deployment and version control tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines).

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary: N200,000 for a start
• Probationary period: 2 months, with salary review based on performance
• Salary increase: Eligible for raise after 2 months of good performance
