Job Title: Financial Accountant

Job Summary

• We seek a highly efficient, professional, and organized Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team at Vestates Limited.
• As a key member of our finance department, you will provide exceptional financial management and administrative support to drive our business growth.

Responsibilities

• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
• Accounting and Reporting: Maintain accurate accounting records.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Audit and Compliance: Coordinate external audits.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial performance.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Taxation: Ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
• Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3 - 4 years of work experience in financial accounting
• Professional certification (such as ICAN and/or its equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards.
• Proficient in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong networking abilities. With the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office packages.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Agile and ready to learn.
