We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Audit Officer

Location: Isolo, Lagos

Job Summary

• Identify system deficiencies, highlight control weaknesses, and recommend appropriate corrective control measures.
• Conduct internal audit checks, prepare audit reports, and ensure the implementation of approved audit recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor debtors’ control, outstanding balances, and stock levels across DML Sales & Service operations
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports upon completion of audit assignments.
• Conduct staff audits, including HR attendance records and leave management (sick, casual, annual, and maternity leave).
• Audit accounts cash payment vouchers and related financial documentation.
• Perform periodic reviews of physical stock and submit detailed reports on findings.
• Carry out audit analysis and reviews, including physical stock checks, Tally reviews, expense analysis (administrative costs, diesel, consumables, stationery, etc.), IIPL/Tally reconciliation, sales rate reviews and approval processes, and branch operational activities.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 – 4 years relevant auditing experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Membership of a recognized professional accounting or auditing body is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of internal control systems, audit processes, and risk management frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary
N200,000 – N230,000 per month
