As part of this partnership, LATC will establish flagship physical and online stores that serve as the definitive expression of the brand in the Nigerian market, offering authentic products and the brand's signature customer experience.

Job Title: Retail Operations Manager

Job Objective
The Retail Operations Manager is the operational backbone of the business, responsible for translating HQ strategy and brand standards into disciplined, repeatable, high - performance store execution.
This role is the bridge between strategy and the shop floor - where execution quality determines whether the stores become a flagship retail destination or an average electronics retailer.
Roles and Responsibilities
Store Operations Excellence (Global Standard Execution):
Own end -to- end retail operating rhythm across all online and physical stores (opening readiness, daily execution, closing discipline).
Ensure 100% compliance with retail operations standards, audit requirements, and partner guidelines.
Standardize and enforce SOPs across customer experience and service flows, inventory handling and security, cash controls and POS accuracy, and visual merchandising execution in collaboration with Marketing .
Act as first -line owner for operational risk (shrinkage, process breakdowns, service failures).
Lead operational readiness for new store launches, refurbishments, and peak trading periods.
Own store -level performance management, including daily and weekly sales tracking, conversion rates, average transaction value (ATV), units per transaction (UPT), and overall productivity metrics
Partner with Finance to monitor inventory accuracy, stock turns, and shrinkage, ensuring strong operational discipline that protects margin and working capital.
Translate performance analytics into clear corrective actions for Store Managers.
Drive a culture where numbers are used to manage, not just reported.
Ensure store operations actively support Apple sales priorities, launches, and promotional windows.
People Development & Succession (Building the Bench):
Build a Store Manager capability model aligned to the partner brand’s expectations.
Coach Store Managers on people leadership, performance management, operational discipline, and data-driven decision making.
Implement succession and rotation planning to reduce single -point dependencies and prepare high -potential staff for multi -store leadership
Partner with HR to identify skills gaps and deploy targeted development interventions.
Act as a culture carrier, embedding the brand’s retail values through behavior, not slogans.
E - commerce Operations (Digital Channel Excellence):
Own end -to- end e - commerce operations, including website performance, order fulfilment, and digital customer experience.
Ensure omnichannel integration between online and physical stores (click - and - collect, returns, inventory visibility).
Monitor and optimize digital KPIs: conversion rates, cart abandonment, delivery SLAs, and customer satisfaction scores.
Partner with Marketing and IT to ensure brand - consistent digital experience aligned with partner standards.
Manage logistics and last -mile delivery partnerships to ensure timely, secure delivery across Nigeria.
Establish and scale SMB (Small & Medium Business) sales operations, including outbound sales, account management, and volume procurement processes.
Build and manage Education (EDU) partnerships with schools, universities, and educational institutions for device deployment and support.
Develop B2B sales processes and SOPs for quoting, contract management, delivery, and post-sale support.
Track institutional sales pipeline and revenue, ensuring alignment with overall business targets.
Ensure compliance with partner’s B2B program requirements and authorized reseller standards.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related numerate discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Professional certifications in Retail, Operations, or Process Excellence — such as Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or above), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent — as well as project or operations management credentials (PMP, PRINCE2) are an added advantage.
Experience (What You Have Done):
8–12+ years in retail operations, with multi -store responsibility.
Experience in premium retail, consumer electronics, or telco retail, working in global brand environments with strict SOPs .
Proven track record of scaling operations, reducing shrinkage, and developing Store Managers into effective leaders.
Knowledge (What You Must Know):
Multi-store retail operations in premium or compliance -heavy environments.
Inventory management systems, stock accuracy controls, and shrinkage mitigation.
