Job Title: Security Supervisor
Location: Lagos (With presence across all store locations and storage facilities)

Job Objective
The Security Supervisor is the asset protection and risk mitigation leader, responsible for translating security strategy and brand protection requirements into disciplined daily execution across all retail and storage locations.
This role is the protective shield of the retail operation — where security discipline determines whether stores operate as safe, trusted premium retail destinations or become targets for theft, fraud, and operational disruption
Roles and Responsibilities
Asset Protection & Loss Prevention (Inventory Security):
Own end -to- end asset protection strategy across all locations, covering store inventory security (display products, stock rooms, high - value items), storage facility protection (warehouse inventory, receiving and dispatch areas), and cash handling security (POS, cash office, and bank transfers).
Implement and enforce shrinkage prevention protocols, including Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) management, CCTV monitoring and footage review, access control systems and key management, and robust inventory movement tracking and verification.
Partner with Retail Operations Manager and Store Managers to investigate shrinkage incidents and implement corrective actions .
Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security SOPs.
Manage physical security infrastructure across all locations, including CCTV installation, maintenance and monitoring; alarm and intrusion detection systems; access control (biometric, card systems and visitor management); and perimeter security and lighti ng.
Ensure 24/7 security coverage through effective shift scheduling and deployment of security personnel.
Oversee opening and closing security procedures for all stores and storage facilities.
Coordinate with building management and landlords on shared security responsibilities and incident response.
Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response protocols covering theft and robbery (during and post -incident), fire and evacuation procedures, medical emergencies, civil disturbances or protests, and power failures or other infrastructure -related em ergencies.
Lead incident investigations with proper evidence collection, documentation, and reporting.
Serve as primary liaison with law enforcement and emergency services.
Conduct regular emergency drills and training for all staff.
Security Team Leadership & Development (Building Capability):
Lead and develop security team members, including Storage Security Officers responsible for warehouse and inventory protection, and Store Security Officers responsible for retail floor security and customer safety.
Establish performance standards and accountability for all security personnel.
Conduct regular training on security procedures, customer service, and emergency response.
Ensure security team presents professional appearance and behavior aligned with premium retail standards.
Build succession coverage for critical security roles to ensure continuous protection.
Maintain comprehensive security documentation, including daily security logs and incident reports, CCTV footage archives and retrieval protocols, visitor logs and access records, and investigation files with clear evidence chains.
Provide regular security reports to the Retail Operations Manager, covering incident summaries and trend analysis, shrinkage metrics and loss -prevention effectiveness, and the status and maintenance needs of security infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and brand principal security standards.
Support internal and external audits with complete, accurate security records.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration, Law, Military Science, Police Studies, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical security experience.
Professional certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional), ASIS International credentials, and First Aid/Fire Safety certifications are an added advantage.
Experience (What You Have Done):
5- 8+ years in security management, with retail or high - value asset protection experience.
Experience in premium retail, consumer electronics, or luxury goods security, with strong exposure to multi-site security management, loss prevention and shrinkage control, security systems (CCTV, access control, EAS), and incident investigation and eviden ce management
Proven track record in reducing shrinkage and preventing theft, managing security teams across multiple locations, responding effectively to security incidents, and building strong relationships with lawenforcement.
