The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion.
The role oversees branding, advertising, digital marketing, promotions, and market research activities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate must be creative, analytical, results-driven, and experienced in managing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Role Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
Develop annual marketing plans, budgets, and performance targets.
Monitor market dynamics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Brand Management:
Build and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity.
Ensure all marketing materials and communications reflect brand standards.
Oversee brand positioning across all business units.
Campaign Development and Execution:
Plan and execute advertising, promotional, and digital marketing campaigns.
Coordinate online and offline marketing initiatives including social media, print, events, and partnerships.
Track campaign performance and optimize based on measurable outcomes.
Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
Oversee website management and social media strategy.
Monitor digital engagement, SEO, online reputation, and paid advertising performance.
Develop content strategies to drive engagement and conversions.
Sales Support and Revenue Growth:
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to drive customer acquisition.
Develop promotional strategies to increase occupancy, foot traffic, or product sales.
Identify new business opportunities and partnership initiatives.
Market Research and Analytics:
Conduct competitor analysis and market intelligence assessments.
Analyze customer data and marketing metrics to improve performance.
Prepare marketing performance reports for management review.
Budget Management:
Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Track marketing ROI and recommend adjustments where necessary.
Team Leadership and Vendor Management:
Supervise marketing staff, designers, and external agencies.
Coordinate with media agencies, printers, and digital partners.
Ensure timely delivery of marketing projects and campaigns.
Experience / Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline.
6 - 10 years experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Experience in hospitality, retail, FMCG, or multi-business environments is an advantage.
Professional marketing certifications (e.g. CIM, Digital Marketing certifications) are an added advantage.
