Job Summary

• Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Creator who will be responsible for producing engaging and informative content across their range of digital channels.
• Ensuring their digital presence supports and enhances their business offerings and delivers theirmessages effectively.

Responsibilities

• Research on industry-related topics.
• Create various content types (videos, articles, infographics) with relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides.
• Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics.
• Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimize content.
• Analyze web traffic to measure the success of the content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates).
• Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares).
• Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics.
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
• Creating content which will catch maximum customer interest.
• Measuring social media traffic statistics.
• Monitor the increase in traffic due to new content and take actions accordingly to improve the traffic metrics.
• Ensure that the content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws.
• Maintain consistency in content and ensure alignment with the brand history and plans.
• Lead on the day-to-day management of our digital channels.
• Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
• Create awareness and interest within our audiences and stakeholder groups, driving traffic to engage with digital content.
• Attend events, committee meetings and functions as and when appropriate.
• Develop and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent content production and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• BSc in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field.
• At least 5 years of proven work experience as a Content Creator in the entertainment and hospitality sectorscreating strong and engaging content.
• Portfolio of published contents.
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems.
• Ability to create engaging and compelling content.
• Familiar with SEO best practices.
• Experience in developing and managing social media campaigns across channels.
• Experience in creating/editing images.
• Experience in video production, including filming, editing and delivering.
• Understanding of digital analytics and metrics, their importance and the tools to monitor, manage and evaluate them.

Salary
N200,000 per month.
