We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Teach HR Lead

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The HR Lead will build and scale a high-performance people system across Thelix Holdings.
  • This role is responsible for creating structure, clarity, and accountability across the organization.
  • The goal is simple: eliminate ambiguity, raise execution standards, strengthen leadership discipline, and improve business results through people.
  • This is a hands-on builder and operator role — not a policy custodian or culture-only position. Success will be measured by structure, performance, operational discipline, and measurable outcomes.

Core Responsibilities
Organizational Structure & Workforce Planning:

  • Design and continuously improve the company’s organizational structure, reporting lines, and role clarity.
  • Align workforce planning with revenue goals, productivity targets, and cost efficiency.
  • Remove role duplication, ownership gaps, and operational bottlenecks.

Performance & Accountability Systems

  • Build and enforce a strong performance management framework aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure every role has clear expectations, measurable KPIs, and defined consequences.
  • Establish consistent feedback cycles, performance reviews, and manager accountability standards.

Compensation, Employment & Compliance:

  • Design and implement salary bands, leveling frameworks, and reward structures.
  • Standardize employment classifications across the group.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, payroll, and labor regulations while proactively managing risk.

Leadership & Management Effectiveness:

  • Set the standard for leadership behavior and management discipline across the organization.
  • Equip managers with practical tools and frameworks to build high-performing teams.
  • Address leadership gaps decisively where performance or culture is at risk.

Talent Strategy (Hiring, Retention & Exits):

  • Own the hiring quality bar across all business units.
  • Ensure disciplined, efficient recruitment for critical roles.
  • Drive data-informed retention strategies and performance-aligned exits.

Change Leadership & Executive Partnership:

  • Lead organizational change initiatives with clarity and structure.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on people risks and leadership effectiveness.
  • Translate business strategy into practical, executable people systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 9+ years of HR/People Operations experience within the tech industry (startup, scale-up, SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, or similar fast-paced environments).
  • At least 3+ years in a senior HR leadership role (Head of HR, HR Lead, People Operations Lead, or equivalent), with direct ownership of strategy and execution.
  • Proven experience building HR systems from scratch or scaling them in a growing organization.
    • Demonstrated success designing and implementing:
    • Organizational structures and workforce planning models
    • Performance management frameworks with measurable KPIs
    • Salary bands, leveling systems, and compensation structures
    • Compliance and risk management processes
  • Strong track record of partnering directly with founders, CEOs, or executive teams.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations issues and driving decisive performance interventions.
  • Deep understanding of labor law, payroll systems, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator.
  • High emotional intelligence with the confidence to hold leaders accountable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias for structure and execution.
