Role Summary
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the company’s sales and marketing function, designing and executing innovative revenue-generation and capital-raising solutions that optimally serve the company’s commercial and financial objectives.
Drive sustainable revenue growth, strengthen brand positioning, and expand client acquisition across Le Finesse’s investment, wealth management, and advisory product offerings.
Work in close and continuous collaboration with the CEO on all key commercial and strategic initiatives, executing mandates with speed, precision, and high qualitative standards to meet evolving business demands, with the overarching objective of strengthening Le Finesse’s financial resilience and long-term market position.
Duties & Responsibilites
Work closely with the CEO to structure, position, and execute corporate market-entry and capital-raising initiatives, including equity, debt, and strategic partnership opportunities, to secure cost-efficient external funding aligned with Le Finesse’s short-, medium-, and long-term growth objectives, while preserving optimal capital adequacy, liquidity, and balance-sheet resilience.
Direct planning, forecasting, marketing program development, partner relationship development, collateral material development, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Lead client acquisition across retail, high-net-worth, and institutional segments.
Plan and direct all aspects of an organization's marketing and sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.
Build and manage strategic partnerships and distribution channels.
Propose, develop, and execute a mix of viable funding strategies across the widest array of financing platforms and instruments from which creative choices would be made by the company’s board and management in the best interest of the company.
Formulate strategies and advance propositions and advisories to the CEO on the best marketing approaches for Le Finesse, backed with strong proofs.
Build, maintain, and actively manage a strong network of local and international financial institutions, investors, and industry stakeholders who can serve as strategic partners to Le Finesse and respond efficiently and in the company’s best interest to its financing needs.
Work with other teams, take ownership of the process of developing feasibility studies and business plans on any project or plan or series of plans and initiatives (across different timelines) requiring funding towards achieving specific Le Finesse business growth plans and strategies, ensuring success in the viability of such plans.
Leverage the sales and marketing function in such a way as to strengthen the company’s brand equity, corporate respectability, and overall shareholder value for the company.
Identify key marketing outlets and competitive strategies that will enable achievement of maximum sales volume.
Establish short- and long-term sales goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives.
Work within the operations team to optimize the business agility of Le Finesse and take up key elements of leadership under the purview of the CEO.
Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and market visibility.
Ensure consistency of brand communication and value proposition.
Set sales targets and monitor pipeline performance.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
Provide regular performance reports to the CEO.
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification:
First Degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics or Business-related fields
Master’s degree in a related field and professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACA, ACCA, MBA, CIS, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Work Experience:
Ideally a mid-level manager with up to 8+ years of sales experience in a securities brokerage company, investment management, mutual funds, or private equity company.
Experience across banking and related financial services sectors, including investment management, capital markets, wealth management, or advisory, combined with exposure to other industries, with a strong track record of applying finance expertise across diverse business and investment environments.
