Job Title: Research & Development Executive

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description
Research & Analytical Skills:

• Strong ability to conductmarket research(property trends, design trends, materials, client preferences)
• Data analysis skills (quantitative & qualitative)
• Ability to translate research findings intoclear business insights
• Competence with research tools, reports, and forecasting models

Industry Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of:
• Real estate markets & estate management practices
• Interior design trends, materials, and sustainability
• Property technology (PropTech), smart homes, green buildings
• Awareness of local regulations, zoning, and compliance trends

Innovation & Creative Thinking:

• Ability to identifynew service offerings, design concepts, or operational improvements
• Creative problem-solving mindset
• Ability to experiment, prototype, and test new ideas before full rollout

Strategic & Business Acumen:

• Understanding of how research supportsprofitability and growth
• Ability to align R&D projects with company goals
• Cost-benefit analysis and ROI thinking

Project Management Skills

• Ability to manage multiple R&D projects simultaneously
• Experience coordinating with designers, estate managers, vendors, and leadership
• Strong documentation and reporting discipline

Communication & Collaboration:

• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset across departments (design, operations, sales, finance)

Technology & Tools:

• Familiarity with:
  • Design software trends (e.g., BIM, CAD insights)
  • Research databases and analytics tools
  • Sustainability and material innovation platforms
  • Comfort with digital transformation initiatives

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Market & Trend Research:

• Monitor real estate, estate management, and interior design trends
• Research client preferences, lifestyle changes, and emerging demands
• Track competitors’ offerings and innovations

Product & Service Development:

• Propose new design concepts, estate services, or management models
• Support development of premium, sustainable, or tech-driven offerings
• Help refine existing services for efficiency and quality

Materials & Design Innovation:

• Research new building materials, finishes, furniture, and technologies
• Evaluate durability, cost, sustainability, and aesthetics
• Recommend materials that improve long-term estate value

Process Improvement:

• Study internal workflows and identify inefficiencies
• Suggest systems or tools to improve project delivery and estate operations
• Support standardization and quality control initiatives

Sustainability & Compliance Research:

• Research eco-friendly practices and green building standards
• Ensure designs and estate practices align with regulations and best practices
• Support certifications and compliance requirements

Feasibility & Risk Assessment:

• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects or investments
• Assess risks related to cost, market acceptance, or regulation
• Provide data-driven recommendations to management

Reporting & Strategic Advisory:

• Prepare research reports and executive briefs
• Present insights to leadership for decision-making
• Act as an internal advisor on innovation and long-term planning

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 0-3 years experience.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 / Month.
