Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to design and build a demo trading platform similar to a modern web trading terminal (like the screenshot shared).
• The platform will include a real-time candlestick chart, market watch list, trade ticket (buy/sell), user authentication, and an admin panel for managing instruments and demo accounts.
• This is a demo platform (not for real money trading), but it must look and behave like a real trading interface, with smooth chart updates, order simulation, and performance-optimized UI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a web-based trading terminal UI (Market Watch, Chart area, Trade Ticket, Orders History).
• Implement candlestick charting with timeframes (1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, etc.), indicators (basic), and live updates.
• Build demo market data flow (synthetic price generator or historical replay) and stream updates in real time (WebSockets).
• Implement simulated trading actions: Buy/Sell, position creation, order history, PnL calculation, margin preview (demo logic).
• Create secure authentication, roles (admin/user), and account/profile management.
• Build backend APIs for instruments, candles/OHLC, orders, positions, and account balances.
• Develop an admin dashboard to manage instruments, spreads, leverage, and demo account funding.
• Ensure clean architecture, documentation, and maintainable code.
• Deploy and maintain the platform on cloud hosting (DigitalOcean/AWS/Vercel) with SSL and basic monitoring.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Master`s Degree
• Strong proficiency in:
  • JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Next.js)
  • Backend development with Node.js (Express/NestJS) or Python (FastAPI/Django)
  • WebSockets / real-time data streaming
  • Working with charts: TradingView Lightweight Charts / ECharts / similar
  • REST API design and integration
• Databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL (Redis is an advantage)
• Solid understanding of candlestick/OHLC data and timeframe aggregation.
• Basic understanding of trading concepts (bid/ask, spread, leverage, margin, PnL) for simulation purposes.
• Experience deploying production web apps and managing environments (Linux, Nginx, SSL).
• Strong debugging skills and ability to deliver stable features on schedule.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice to Have:

• Experience building dashboards or data-heavy UIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Experience implementing indicators (MA/RSI/MACD) or order types (limit/stop) in demo mode.
• UI/UX sensibility for “trading terminal” layout and performance.

• Salary: Competitive (N220,000 – N250,000 monthly), based on experience.
