We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: CCR Operator

Location: Senegal

Job Description

• Monitor production from the control room for compliance with standards in the cement manufacturing process
• Provide reliable information to logs and other operators in the production chain according to production events.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Monitor and control all sectors for stable operation of equipment, employee safety and compliance
• Document and report daily activities to the Chiefs of the Quarter.
• Ensure the proper functioning of raw material manufacturing equipment, cooking (ovens) and shredders by providing constant information and relevant advice to shift leaders, engineers, rounders in the field.
• Inform logs, supervisors about possible breakdowns and guide them for problem solving.
• Diagnose and solve problems of operation of equipment, either in collaboration with the coordinators, engineers and the head of the shift, or independently when immediate action is necessary to ensure the resumption of production.
• Ensure the conduct of the workshop or workshops at your disposal in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Perform any other task assigned by the head of department.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

• License or equivalent in a scientific discipline
• Minimum of five (5) years of industry work experience.

Skills:

• Working knowledge of the process of making cement
• Good knowledge of quality parameters
• Good knowledge of production operations, equipment and their functions
• Competence in problem solving and analysis
• Good interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Ability to pay attention to details.

HSE skills related to the position:

• Know how to use firefighting
• Know how to dispense first aid gestures
• Know the OSH risks related to its activities as well as the control provisions
• Know the environmental aspects and impacts related to its activities as well as the provisions of control
• Know the provisions on waste management
• Know how to provide a FREI and an FNC.
