Job Title: Spa Trainee

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Description

• A Spa Trainee assists senior staff, learns professional treatments (massages, facials, pedicures), prepares rooms, and maintains cleanliness while gaining hands-on experience in customer service and product knowledge.
• They work under supervision to master spa protocols, safety standards, and guest comfort, aiming to become qualified therapists.

Key Responsibilities

• Learning & Assisting:Shadow senior therapists, assist during treatments, and learn specific spa techniques and protocols.
• Treatment Preparation:Set up, clean, and organize treatment rooms before and after sessions, ensuring high hygiene and safety standards.
• Guest Service:Greet clients, ensure their comfort, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Operations Support:Help with inventory, product promotion, and sometimes front desk duties.
• Training Participation:Attend mandatory workshops, training sessions, and assessments to develop skills.

Typical Requirements & Skills

• Education: Minimum of SSCE, OND, or High School Diploma; Beauty Therapy qualifications are a plus.
• Passion: Strong interest in wellness, beauty, and holistic health.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a "can-do" attitude.
• Attributes: Neat, professional appearance, and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Goal of the Role:

• To transition from a trainee to a fully functional Spa Therapist, capable of independently performing services like massages, facials, and body treatments.

Salary
N90,000 - N120,000 / month.
