Research, Fundraising & Partnership Development:

  • Identify and research global and local opportunities (competitions, partnerships, grants) to enhance program offerings and student exposure.
  • Assist in fundraising efforts specifically for digital skills initiatives, securing funds, sponsorships, and in-kind donations to expand the scope and reach of CAIN’s tech programs.
  • Build relationships with tech companies, foundations, and educational institutions to secure resources, mentorship opportunities, and exposure for students.

Program Growth & Strategic Expansion:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to accelerate the growth and impact of CAIN’s digital skills programs across multiple communities.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on program outcomes, using data to inform improvements and demonstrate impact to stakeholders and funders.
  • Champion CAIN Africa’s tech programs at conferences, community events, and online platforms to enhance visibility, attract support, and build a global network.

Requirements

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and a proactive, solutions-driven approach to challenges.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Classroom) and other digital collaboration tools.
  • Mandatory availability to work every Saturday, as core program activities and training are scheduled on weekends.
