We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Interior Architect 

Location: Ketu Ikosi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and design goals.
• Develop design concepts that align with the client's requirements, functional considerations, and design principles.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Analyze the available space and develop efficient floor plans and layouts that optimize functionality and traffic flow.
• Determine the placement of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and decorative elements to maximize space utilization and create harmonious environments.
• Consider factors such as lighting, acoustics, accessibility, and sustainability while planning interior spaces.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and textures to create the desired ambiance and aesthetic appeal.
• Research and stay updated on the latest trends, products, and technologies in the interior design industry.
• Prepare detailed specifications and material boards that outline the selected materials and finishes for the project.
• Create compelling presentations and visual representations of design concepts using software tools like CAD (Computer-Aided Design), 3D modeling, and rendering software.
• Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and schedules for contractors and construction teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including design plans, material specifications, and project-related communications.
• Foster positive and collaborative relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing professional advice, and addressing their concerns.
• Present design proposals, iterate based on client feedback, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the design process.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (a Master's degree may be preferred for senior positions).
• Proven experience (3 years) in interior design, preferably with a focus on architectural projects.
• Proficiency in design software tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Studio Max, or similar applications.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior design.
• Excellent creativity and artistic skills, with an eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Ability to communicate design ideas effectively through visual presentations, drawings, and verbal/written communication.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and familiarity with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) principles is desirable.
• Project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage client expectations.
• Collaboration and teamwork abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Salary
N180,000 - N250,000 / month.
