We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Electrical Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Performance Measures
Specific:

• Review design and specifications provided by consultant and technical team.
• Escalate any discrepancies and raise necessary RFIs within one week of receiving drawings.
• Advise the design and technical team of best approach and design upgrades and deviations.

Pre-Construction Stage:

• Supervising the installation of lighting, LV, MV HV, ELV and other electrical systems where Rhema is responsible.
• Ensure all electrical systems are properly installed and meet required quality standard and conduct all necessary electrical testing and obtaining signoffs from consultants and client where applicable.
• Liaise with other discipline to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other services and elements.
• Be cost conscious during installation of systems and components.
• Produce material take-off for installation requirement.
• Provide clarity for subcontractors and technicians to effectively carryout installation works.
• Assist maintenance and repairs division with troubleshooting of all electrical systems occasionally.
• Be stationed on primary site of duty to ensure all electrical works are carried out.
• Interface with external parties, water service providers, fire service and government agencies regarding elecrtical systems and partake in project review meetings.
• Ensure good record keeping or project progress, reports, tests, commissioning certificates.
• Work along respective project manager to develop daily, weekly, monthly and project work plan and schedules.
• Coordinate with electrical engineer on all related systems and ensure relevant electrical & mechanical systems integration and assist the electrical engineer in overseeing electrical installations.

Close Out:

• To record deviations from working drawing consistently, to harmonize for the as built drawings.
• By providing red line diagrams for deviation of plans.
• To ensure all defects are corrected and all equipment and items issued are returned to the store.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s / Master`s Degree with 5 - 15 years experience.
