Job Title: Electrical Technician

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our factory operations team in Ikeja.
• The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in electrical assembly within a manufacturing environment, particularly in generator set assembly and control panel wiring.
• The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical assembly and installation work within the factory
• Perform generator set assembly, panel wiring, and control panel building
• Execute control panel wiring and ATS panel assembly
• Handle cable routing and termination
• Install and wire batteries
• Install sensors, relays, breakers, and other protection devices
• Conduct electrical testing including continuity, insulation resistance, and voltage checks
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams, control panel schematics, and layout drawings
• Ensure proper grounding and earthing systems are implemented
• Use electrical hand tools and testing instruments safely and effectively
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Educational & Professional Requirements

• OND/HND or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field is an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in generator set assembly, panel wiring, or control panel building
• Experience working with low-voltage electrical systems
• Familiarity with generator controllers is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of electrical testing procedures.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
