Job Title: Technical Assistant
Location: Abuja and Uyo, Akwa Ibom (with flexibility for remote collaboration and field engagements)
Employment Type: 25 Hours/Week – Contractual (initial 12-month renewable term)

Position Overview
The Technical Assistant will provide high-level administrative functions and operational support to the founding team at Truva Intelligence.
This hybrid position bridges corporate innovation and public service, requiring a dynamic individual capable of managing fast-paced professional and political environments, ensuring that the Co-Founder’s projects, communications, and engagements run efficiently and in alignment with Truva’s core mission of data-driven governance and intelligent development.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Support (Truva Intelligence):
Serve as the Co-Founder’s primary administrative and operational support in all Truva-related functions.
Assist in coordinating research projects, stakeholder engagement, and documentation in line with Truva’s strategic priorities.
Draft and review project briefs, reports, proposals, and client correspondences.
Manage schedules, appointments, travel arrangements, and meetings (physical/virtual).
Track and document deliverables, deadlines, and key communications within Truva’s internal systems.
Support communication with Truva’s internal team, clients, and external partners.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations, memos, and technical summaries for business meetings and speaking engagements.
Political & Strategic Support (Campaign / Governance Track):
Provide research assistance and policy analysis on governance, development, and constituency-related issues.
Assist in preparing campaign documents, speeches, and social media communications aligned with Basil’s political agenda.
Coordinate meetings with political stakeholders, local representatives, and advocacy groups.
Maintain a database of constituency needs, development priorities, and stakeholder feedback.
Oversee digital communication strategies, including online visibility, branding, and message management.
Manage confidential correspondence and ensure professional discretion in all political and corporate dealings.
Liaise between the political campaign team and Truva Intelligence where overlap exists (e.g., data analysis, constituency mapping, etc.).
Regular updates on Oron Prosperity Initiative (OPI); constant availability on the Campaign WhatsApp group and other social media platforms, while liaising with locals in respective Local Government spaces.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Mass Communication, Development Studies, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience providing executive, research, or technical assistance in a corporate, political, or nonprofit environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English essential; knowledge of local languages an advantage).
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Familiarity with Nigeria’s political landscape, especially campaign organization and legislative functions.
Strong digital literacy: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, project management tools (Trello/Asana), and research software.
Capacity to travel and work flexible hours during campaign periods.
A proactive and self-driven attitude, with strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal tact.
Preferred Attributes:
Prior experience supporting senior executives or political figures.
Knowledge of data analytics, political communication, or constituency mapping.
Proven record of managing complex schedules and stakeholder coordination.

Remuneration
Competitive, commensurate with experience, and work hours required. Includes performance-based incentives and travel allowances during campaign seasons.
Salary is revised after a 3-month probationary period.
