Our client in the marketing consultancy industry is looking for a Senior Strategy & Client Delivery Lead to serve as the critical bridge between client ambition and measurable marketing outcomes.
You will be the strategic brain and execution backbone on high-value client accounts, translating business briefs into actionable strategies and overseeing their delivery to completion.
This role demands someone who can walk into a boardroom, command the room with insight, and then roll up their sleeves to build the execution plan that makes the strategy real.
You will work directly with the CEO and will be entrusted with significant client relationships from day one.
Interpret client briefs with precision, identifying underlying business objectives, market context, and strategic imperatives beyond the stated requirements.
Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with client goals, incorporating market analysis, competitive intelligence, audience segmentation, and channel strategy.
Present strategies to clients with clarity, confidence, and commercial awareness, securing buy-in from senior stakeholders including C-suite executives.
Continuously refine strategies based on performance data, market shifts, and evolving client needs.
Execution Planning & Project Delivery:
Translate approved strategies into detailed, time-bound execution plans with clearly defined milestones, KPIs, owners, and dependencies.
Build and manage project timelines using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or equivalent), ensuring all workstreams remain on track and on budget.
Coordinate cross-functional delivery across creative, digital, media, and analytics teams—both internal and external—to ensure cohesive, high-quality output.
Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, escalating issues early and proposing solutions before they impact delivery.
Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned client accounts, building trust-based relationships with marketing directors, brand managers, and C-suite stakeholders.
Manage client expectations with transparency, professionalism, and commercial sensitivity, balancing responsiveness with strategic boundary-setting.
Lead client-facing meetings, status updates, and quarterly business reviews with poise and preparation.
Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics across multiple client organisations simultaneously without compromising quality or relationships.
Reporting, Analytics & Performance Tracking:
Develop and maintain performance dashboards and campaign reports that clearly communicate progress against agreed KPIs.
Leverage Excel/Google Sheets proficiency to build trackers, models, and data-driven reports that support strategic decision-making.
Utilise AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, analytics platforms) to enhance research, content development, reporting efficiency, and strategic output.
Translate data into narrative, ensuring reports tell a compelling story, not just present numbers.
Leadership & Team Development:
Provide mentorship and direction to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development of internal processes, templates, and best practices that elevate the agency’s operational standards.
Champion a collaborative, solutions-oriented working culture within the team.

Demonstrated track record of managing high-value client accounts and delivering integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution.
Proven ability to develop and present marketing strategies to senior-level audiences, including C-suite decision-makers.

Technical & Functional Competencies:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets—including data modelling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and dashboard construction.
Working knowledge of project management platforms (Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Notion, or equivalent) with the ability to structure and manage complex, multi-workstream projects.
Proficiency with AI tools for research, content creation, and workflow optimisation, demonstrating a modern, tech-forward approach to marketing strategy and operations.
