Role Overview
New Label Ray Media is seeking a visionary, data-driven, and commercially astute Group Marketing Lead to spearhead the strategic marketing direction across its portfolio of media, communications, content, and brand verticals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive audience growth, brand positioning, revenue expansion, partnerships, and market leadership across all business units.
This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, creative leadership, performance marketing expertise, and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Group Marketing Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and implement a unified group-wide marketing strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Define brand architecture, positioning, and messaging across all subsidiaries and verticals.
Lead annual marketing planning, budgeting, and performance forecasting.
Establish measurable KPIs across digital, offline, and partnership channels.
Brand Management & Positioning:
Drive brand equity, visibility, and market differentiation.
Oversee brand consistency across campaigns, content, communications, and activations.
Lead rebranding initiatives where required across portfolio entities.
Protect and enhance the corporate reputation of New Label Ray Media.
Digital & Performance Marketing:
Lead multi-channel campaigns (Digital, Social, Paid Media, Influencer, Experiential).
Drive audience acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
Optimize performance marketing spend to ensure ROI-driven outcomes.
Utilize analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools to inform decisions.
Revenue & Commercial Growth:
Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to design revenue-generating campaigns.
Develop marketing strategies that drive advertising, sponsorship, and partnership income.
Support new product launches, content distribution strategies, and monetization initiatives.
Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
Content & Campaign Leadership:
Provide strategic oversight on campaign ideation and execution.
Align marketing initiatives with editorial and content strategy.
Ensure compelling storytelling across platforms to deepen audience connection.
Supervise campaign rollouts across digital, print, broadcast, and experiential channels.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management:
Build and manage relationships with agencies, media partners, influencers, and vendors.
Represent the organization at industry events and brand activations.
Negotiate marketing partnerships that enhance brand equity and growth.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor marketing managers and cross-functional teams.
Foster a high-performance culture driven by accountability and innovation.
Build scalable marketing structures across the Group.
Revenue contribution from marketing-led initiatives.
Campaign ROI and conversion metrics.
Brand awareness and market positioning indices.
Partnership acquisition and commercial collaborations.
Budget adherence and marketing efficiency ratios.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
Minimum of 8 - 12 years’ progressive experience in Marketing, preferably within Media, Communications, Entertainment, or Creative industries.
Proven experience managing multi-brand portfolios or group-level marketing structures.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand strategy, and revenue growth models.
Demonstrated success in executing high-impact marketing campaigns.
Experience in budget management and performance reporting.

What We Offer
Salary Budget: N1,000,000 – N1,500,000 base monthly, plus other Commission & incentives
