Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security management and a strong understanding of security protocols and practices.
• As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing security operations, developing security policies, and leading a team of security personnel.
• Your role will be crucial in maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors alike, alongside safeguarding company property against theft, vandalism, and other threats.
• You will play a key role in conducting regular security audits, responding to incidents, and liaising with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to effectively manage the security team and coordinate with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of security personnel, ensuring adherence to established security protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of the premises to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Develop, implement, and review security policies and procedures to enhance overall safety measures.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms; conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during security breaches or incidents.
• Provide training and development for security staff to maintain high levels of vigilance and professionalism.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on security incidents, breaches, and audit findings to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a security supervisor or similar role in a reputable organization.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, regulations, and procedures.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure during emergencies.
• Proficient in using security systems and surveillance equipment.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary
N80,000 - N82,000 / month.
