Job Summary
Overall management of project section to ensure timely delivery and customer’s satisfaction
Job Details
Managing overall Construction activities to provide a complete construction program.
Applying a comprehensive knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction as well as the methods and techniques to be utilized for construction.
Review procedures associated with the construction activities and attend constructability and HAZID reviews.
Review Construction Equipment needs and requirement and allocate appropriately.
Manage the assignment of construction manpower, materials and equipment in order to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules and to meet budget goals.
Manage the Subcontractors at worksite locations
Control and monitor all aspects of the construction to ensure that activities are completed within the agreed timeframe and safely.
Coordinate personnel, equipment, procurement and delivery of materials during mobilization, execution and demobilization.
Represent Oilserv in the field and act as official liaison with Client Representatives, Subcontractors and Government Representatives to ensure effective implementation of project requirements and specifications.
Working within the provisions and guidelines of the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001.
Personnel Safety and for ensuring work is undertaken using safe practices in line with the project QHSE Plans.
Exercises control over rate of construction progress to complete construction project within time limits, schedules jobs and operations. Giving support to the Project Controls Teams in Project Wok scheduling, Work plan monitoring and Project lapses prevention
Leads inspection and commission of day-to-day construction work to enforce conformity to specifications adequacy and effectiveness of quality system in satisfying project quality and other compliance requirements.
Project Reporting – Interfacing with the Project Service Engineers by reviewing the Daily, Weekly and Monthly site reports for proper Project Reporting.
Deals with individuals demanding information or service, such as agencies, departmental heads or others e.g Project Controls, HSE, CSR etc
Provision of leadership, supervision, construction technical guidance and mentoring to personnel,
Monitoring and appraising construction work in the specific area assigned to ensure consistency with engineering drawings, design specification, client standard, safe work practices and applicable codes,
Planning and implementation of the construction phase execution strategies, resource planning, daily interfaces with the Client’s Project Engineers to ensure alignment with contract obligation, technical specification and terms and conditions,
Serving as project Teams first line supervisor for safety management and suggesting remedial steps in areas of deficiencies,
Maintaining site work according to the client design and specification. Organization and provision of daily work direction and coordination of discipline foremen, inspectors, and safety personnel,
Any other duties that may be assigned by management.

Drive compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies, processes, procedures and applicable laws/legal requirements across Oilserv business.
Take responsibility for their health & safety and those of stake holders across Oilserv business
Requirements
B.Eng. in any Engineering Discipline preferably Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Strong onshore EPCIC Management experience
Relevant QHSE Training
Project Management Training
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in major projects in the Oil & Gas Construction or Petrochemical Industry, and at least 8 years as a Construction Lead/Manager
Proven track record of directly managing a major EPCIC Onshore Gas Pipeline Project.
Ability to communicate at all levels
Excellent organizational/time management skills
