We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supermarket Cashier

Locations: Lugbe, Apo, Lokogoma, Jabi, Gwarimpa, Kubwa and Maitama - Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are looking for a responsible and customer-friendly Cashier to handle customer payments, issue receipts, and provide excellent service at checkout.
• The ideal candidate should be honest, attentive, and comfortable handling cash and POS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan goods and process customer purchases accurately
• Handle cash, POS, transfers, and other payment methods
• Issue receipts and give correct change
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Attend to customer questions politely
• Report pricing errors or discrepancies to management
• Maintain cleanliness around the checkout area
• Assist with product bagging when necessary

Job Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification
• Previous experience as a cashier is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of POS systems
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Honest and trustworthy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends

• Well-presented and professional.

Salary
N50,000 / month.
