We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Telesales Specialist

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Telesales Specialist to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales through high-volume inbound and outbound calls, qualifying leads, managing customer relationships, and promoting our products and services.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, strong persuasive abilities, and a commitment to achieving sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily outbound and inbound telephone calls to persuade customers to purchase companies' products and services to achieve sales targets using scripts.
  • Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns and convert them into viable sales opportunities.
  • Call existing and potential customers to persuade them to purchase company products and services.
  • Manage customer accounts, process purchases and promptly resolve customer complaints.
  • Engage and retain prospects and clients through account management and customer relationship management databases.
  • Generate promising leads for the outside sales and business development teams.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all calls made and received while liaising with the appropriate departments to resolve customer complaints promptly.
  • Engage in pre-sales, during service, feedback and after sales telephone follow up with clients to make sure they receive the promised service and offer referrals to family and friends.
  • Engage in cross-selling and up-selling our products and services.
  • Managing customer accounts by ensuring that existing customers remain satisfied with company products and services and handle grievances to preserve the company's reputation.
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of customer products and services to make suitable recommendations based on customers' needs, market analysis and preferences.
  • Represent Seedbuilders externally, raising awareness of our brand and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement with key stakeholders within the wider ecosystem.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer service.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Target-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to handle objections and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of resilience, confidence, and adaptability.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly, plus 2% commission on sales.
