Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Sales Development Representative (SDR) serves as the critical first point of contact between Omni Channel Limited and prospective clients. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating a robust pipeline of leads, and scheduling high-value meetings for the senior sales team.
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for building meaningful business relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Conduct targeted research to identify potential clients across industries that can benefit from Omni Channel’s outsourcing and workforce solutions.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects through cold calling, email outreach, social selling (LinkedIn), networking events, and referrals.
  • Utilise CRM tools to log activities, track interactions, and manage lead data with accuracy and consistency.

Qualification & Discovery:

  • Engage prospects through consultative conversations to understand their business challenges, workforce needs, and operational pain points.
  • Apply qualification frameworks (such as BANT or MEDDIC) to assess prospect fit and buying readiness.
  • Effectively communicate Omni Channel’s value proposition across service lines including contact centre outsourcing, retail staffing, and facility management support.

Appointment Setting & Handoff:

  • Schedule qualified discovery calls and presentations for the Business Development Manager and senior sales leadership.
  • Prepare detailed prospect briefs to ensure seamless handoff and a superior client experience.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture relationships and move opportunities through the sales funnel.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the Nigerian and West African BPO market.
  • Provide regular reports on outreach metrics, pipeline status, conversion rates, and key insights to sales leadership.
  • Contribute to the refinement of sales messaging, pitch decks, and outreach strategies based on field feedback.

Collaboration & Team Support:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align on campaign messaging, lead nurture sequences, and content distribution.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development programmes.
  • Support proposal development and client onboarding activities as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a sales development, business development, telemarketing, or lead generation role.
  • Prior experience in BPO, staffing, HR outsourcing, or B2B services is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage C-level and senior decision-makers.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and sales engagement tools.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to identify high-value prospects.
  • Resilience, persistence, and a results-oriented mindset—comfortable with high-volume outreach.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month
