About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced Geologist with a strong background in mining operations to join our team in Gujani, Kaduna.
• The successful candidate will play a key role in geological exploration, resource evaluation, and supporting mining activities to ensure efficient and sustainable extraction of mineral resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological surveys, mapping, and sampling to identify mineral deposits.
• Analyze geological data to evaluate ore reserves and mining potential.
• Supervise drilling, blasting, and sampling operations to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Prepare detailed geological reports, maps, and models for resource estimation.
• Collaborate with mining engineers and environmental teams to optimize extraction processes.
• Monitor mine development and provide technical guidance on geological aspects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Utilize modern geological software and tools for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Mining Geology, or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in mining geology.
• Strong knowledge of mineral exploration techniques and resource evaluation.
• Proficiency in geological modeling software (e.g., Surpac, Datamine, GIS tools).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with Nigerian mining regulations and environmental standards is an advantage.
