This is not a back-office role. Bayse is a trading and prediction market platform where trust, funds movement, and operational correctness are core to the product experience.
You will own the operating cadence that drives delivery, while also leading finance operations including reconciliations, settlements, cash management, controls, and reporting readiness. You will also own key external stakeholders and partners that power the business, from payments and banking to KYC, compliance stakeholders, and auditors.
Success in this role requires strong startup execution, high agency, and the ability to build systems that scale without slowing the team down.
Key Responsibilities
Company-wide execution and alignment: Run the operating cadence that aligns product, design, engineering, marketing, and growth, including planning cycles, weekly execution rhythms, OKRs, and delivery tracking.
Product-led operations: Partner closely with product and engineering to translate strategy into shipped outcomes, unblock teams, manage cross-functional dependencies, and keep execution tight.
Finance operations and controls: Own reconciliations, settlements, payouts, cash management, vendor payments, expense controls, approvals, and governance tied to funds movement.
Reporting and financial readiness: Build close processes, reporting routines, and financial hygiene required for audits, investors, and regulatory readiness.
External stakeholders and partnerships: Own critical partners (payments, banking, KYC, compliance tooling, data providers). Lead onboarding, SLAs, performance reviews, escalations, and relationship health.
Operational excellence: Build SOPs, eliminate bottlenecks, improve tooling, and drive automation to increase speed, quality, and reliability across the organization.
Risk and integrity: Design and enforce controls that reduce operational risk, prevent fraud exposure, and ensure correctness across payment, withdrawal, and settlement workflows.
Customer and trade operations: Own operational workflows that impact user trust directly, especially funds-related escalations, turnaround times, and issue resolution quality.
Team leadership: Hire, manage, and develop ops and finance ops talent, building a culture of ownership, high agency, and high standards.
