We are the primary Official Development Assistance (ODA) agency of the Government of the Republic of Korea. Since our establishment in 1991, we have implemented bilateral grant aid programs to support sustainable socio-economic development in partner developing countries, contributing to poverty reduction and improved quality of life.
Our Nigeria Office, opened in 2008, has been providing development assistance through grant aid and the implementation of socio-economic development programs across Nigeria. The office is located in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
We are currently seeking qualified Nigerian nationals to fill the position below:

Duties and Responsibilities
Project management
Project Implementation and Performance Management: for ‘Green Jobs for Youth in Resilient Agrifood Systems in Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Liberia’ and other agriculture related projects. Research and Surveys in the Agricultural Sector.
Stakeholder Coordination;
Facilitate and support communication with project teams, government counterparts, implementing partners, and inter-country liaison mechanisms.
Reporting & Knowledge Management;
Prepare technical reports, donor briefs, and progress updates.
Document lessons learned, success stories, and policy insights for regional learning.
Field Missions:
Plan, organize, and participate in regular field missions to project sites to monitor implementation progress, verify results, and provide technical and operational support to partners and beneficiaries.
Collect field data, document lessons learned, and prepare mission reports to inform project management and decision-making.
Liaise with local authorities, community stakeholders, and implementing partners to ensure effective delivery of project activities and timely resolution of operational challenges.
Office Management
Basic Office Procurement Management
Performance of other duties as directed by the office.
Qualifications
All of the following qualifications are required:
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture with 3 years or more in agriculture project experience
Master's Degree and above in Agriculture with 2 years or more in agriculture project experience
Other non-agriculture related Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years or more in agriculture project experience
High-level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Applicants must be below 40 years of age at the time of application submission.
Candidates possessing the following criteria are desirable:
Possession of PRINCE 2 Foundation, PRINCE 2 Practitioner, or PMP certification
Experience working with Korean government-funded projects/programs
Experience working with multi/bilateral development agencies.
Experience in implementing large-scale Agricultural development projects (Project budget value of USD 5 million or more).

Professionalism: Mobilize resources effectively in project/program management; Is conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines, and achieving results; Shows persistence when faced with difficult problems or challenges; remains calm in stressful situations; Delivers results on time without compromising quality standards; Takes responsibility for incorporating gender perspectives and ensuring the equal participation of women and men in all areas of work; Willing to travel with Nigeria or abroad to manage assigned projects/programs.
Special Notice
The probationary period shall be three (3) months initially, with the possibility of an extension for an additional three (3) months, up to a maximum of six (6) months in total.(During the probationary period, 90% of agreed contract salary is payable.)
Following the probationary period, the employee’s appointment may be confirmed or the contract terminated, based on performance and subject to the decision of the Country Director
