Role Summary

• The Church Programs & Services Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and seamless execution of weekly services (including Sunday services) and special church events.
• This role ensures that every service and event is spiritually impactful, operationally excellent, and delivered in alignment with the church’s vision, culture, and standards of excellence.
• The Coordinator oversees the full lifecycle of church programs , from preparation and team coordination to live service management and post-service evaluation, ensuring that all departments and volunteers function cohesively to create a warm, welcoming, and well-structured worship experience.
• This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational discipline, spiritual sensitivity, and the ability to manage multiple teams in a dynamic, live environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate weekly Sunday services and midweek services.
• Develop structured service plans and event run sheets in collaboration with pastoral and ministry leadership.
• Coordinate rehearsals and pre-service briefings to ensure alignment.
• Ensure all service elements (worship, media, announcements, transitions, guest ministers, etc.) flow seamlessly.
• Lead planning and execution of conferences, outreaches, special celebrations, and church-wide programs.
• Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and according to church standards.
• Coordinate ushers, greeters, media teams, protocol, hospitality, worship team, and other relevant departments.
• Ensure a welcoming and spiritually engaging environment for attendees.
• Monitor indicators such as service flow, warmth, guest experience, and engagement levels.
• Implement improvements to enhance anticipation and retention for future services and events.
• Ensure compliance with church policies and safety standards.
• Anticipate risks and resolve real-time issues during live services.
• Maintain structured documentation of service plans and reports.
