We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Handle campus accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain an up-to-date billing system
• Generate and send out invoices as due
• Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments in Xero ERP promptly
• Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
• Perform account reconciliations of all debtors
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
• Research and resolve invoice & receipt discrepancies
• Maintain campus imprest and expenses payments with prompt posting in Xero ERP
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting or Finance,
• ACA/ACCA/MBA is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 1- 3 years of accounting & finance experience.
• Highest level of integrity, excellence & creativity
• Data/financial analysis skills
• Excellent multi-tasking abilities
• Knowledge and understanding of Nigerian Taxation Laws
• Knowledge of Xero accounting ERP and the ability to use the entire MS Office suite will be an added advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, vendors, and clients.
