Description
We are looking to engage competent and experienced NOC Manager to lead the proactive monitoring, analysis, and operational oversight of DPS’s hybrid power systems—ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability across commercial and industrial client sites.
He or She will be responsible for managing incidents, coordinating fault resolution, driving continuous performance improvements, and ensuring seamless integration and visibility of all monitored assets.

Key Responsibilities
Network & System Monitoring:
Ensure continuous monitoring of C&I hybrid systems, including solar PV, battery storage, diesel backup, smart meters, and energy management systems.
Oversee monitoring tools that track performance of multi-technology hybrid energy solutions deployed across commercial and industrial sites.
Incident & Problem Management:
Lead incident resolution for high-load C&I customer systems, ensuring minimal downtime for mission-critical operations.
Drive RCA and CAPA specifically for faults arising from the interaction between solar, batteries, inverters, and grid/genset hybrid setups.
Performance & Reliability Optimization:
Analyse asset performance to optimize hybrid system efficiencies—solar harvest, battery cycling, load management, inverter productivity, and genset runtimes.
Recommend operational improvements tailored to the unique load profiles and power reliability demands of C&I clients.
Technology & Tools Management:
Oversee integration of C&I hybrid assets—including large inverters, energy storage systems, industrial energy meters—into monitoring platforms.
Collaborate with engineering to improve visibility and telemetry across distributed hybrid systems deployed at commercial and industrial facilities.
Stakeholder & Client Interface:
Partner with C&I client teams to support system performance reporting, uptime assurance, and incident resolution for high-value enterprise customers.
Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in NOC operations, power systems monitoring, or network operations with 3 years managing hybrid energy systems (solar + battery + genset + grid) in Commercial & Industrial environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting large commercial and industrial clients with complex hybrid power architectures.
Deep understanding of C&I-scale solar systems, inverter technologies (string/central), battery energy storage systems (BESS), genset integration, and grid interaction.
Hands-on experience with SCADA/EMS systems monitoring hybrid infrastructure.
Proficiency in troubleshooting performance deviations in multi-source energy systems.
Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources.
Ability to assess and prioritize faults and respond or escalate accordingly.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office applications
Experience of analysing system and network performance using monitoring and graphical data
Experience diagnosing network and service issues, following them through resolution.
Professional Membership: Preferably a professional engineer with NSE, COREN and engineering certifications
Language Proficiency: English.
HSE certification is an advantage.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), report writing and analysis.
