Job Title: Porter

Responsibilties
Guest Assistance:

• Welcome guests upon arrival.
• Help guests with luggage to and from their rooms.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain basic room features.
• Assist elderly or disabled guests when needed.

Luggage Handling:

• Load and unload luggage from vehicles.
• Store luggage safely in the luggage room when required.
• Deliver luggage, parcels, or packages to guest rooms.

Front Entrance Duties:

• Open doors for guests.
• Manage traffic at the hotel entrance.
• Call taxis or arrange transport when requested.

Information & Support:

• Provide basic information about hotel facilities (restaurant, gym, pool, etc.).
• Direct guests to meeting rooms or event halls.
• Support reception during busy periods.

General Hotel Support:

• Deliver messages, mail, and room service items.
• Ensure lobby and entrance areas are tidy.
• Report maintenance or security issues to management.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 - 3 years of work experience.
