Job Title: Nursery and Primary Teacher

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• A Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that educate and inspire students.
• The teacher helps students develop academically, socially, and morally in a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and instructional materials.
• Assess and evaluate students’ performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance and academic progress.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline.
• Provide guidance and support to students.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about students’ progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of NCE, B.Ed., B.Sc. Ed., or related Degree.
• TRCN certification (added advantage).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Good knowledge of subject area.
• Basic ICT skills.

Salary
N50,000 - N150,000 / month.
