We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nanny

Location: Port Harcourt (Rupokwu), Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Live-in
Reports To: Parent(s) / Guardian

Job Summary

• A Nanny is responsible for providing attentive, safe, and nurturing care to children in a private home. The role includes supporting children’s physical, emotional, social, and educational development while maintaining a structured and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Assist children with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Plan and organize age-appropriate activities (educational and recreational).
• Help with homework and school projects.
• Maintain daily routines (feeding, nap time, playtime, bedtime).
• Transport children to and from school or activities (if required).
• Perform light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, tidying play areas).
• Monitor children's behavior and report concerns to parents.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate (additional childcare training is an advantage).
• Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, or childcare provider.
• Basic knowledge of child development and safety practices.
• First Aid/CPR certification (added advantage).
• Good communication skills.
• Patience, compassion, and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.

Working Conditions:

• May require flexible hours (including evenings or weekends).

Salary
N30,000 - N70,000 / Month.
