Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• We are seeking a Tube Mill Operatorresponsible for operating, setting up, and optimizing tube mill machinery in a steel company to produce steel tubing according to specifications.
• With 2–4years of experience, this role also includes supervising junior operators, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe, efficient production.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust tube mill equipment to meet production targets.
• Set up machines, change rolls, and optimize parameters for efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform dimensional and quality checks using measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct routine preventive maintenance.
• Supervise and train junior operators; ensure adherence to SOPs and safety rules.
• Record production data, downtime, and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

‎Required Qualifications

• ‎B.Sc in Engineering or any related course.
• ‎Minimum of HND.
• ‎2–4 years of tube mill operation experience in a steel manufacturing environment.
• ‎Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• ‎Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• ‎Demonstrated supervisory or mentoring experience.
• ‎Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• ‎Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends.
