We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Gaffer

Location: Osogbo, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the director of photography (DoP) to bring to life the overall look of a film by creating and controlling light.
• Going on recce too see how the lighting will work on location and draw up a list of the kit that will be needed to achieve the artistic vision.
• Working out the positioning of the lights and fastest way to change the lighting setups between shots.
• Ensuring safety and need to comply with the law on electricity

Job Requirements

• The role is full-time.
• Must be able to adjust to flexible working hours (9 am-5 pm, Mondays to Fridays, and some nights or weekends when required).
• Must be willing to relocate to Osogbo, Osun State, as the roles are on-site.
• Must be a Christian and have proven integrity (2 reference letters will be required before appointment).

Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of light and lighting rigs.
• Prior knowledge of filmmaking
• Strong communication skill
• Collaborative skill
• Ability to work within budget and schedule
• Ability to work at heights.
