Job Summary

• We are hiring an E-commerce Manager to lead seller acquisition and product onboarding for alabamarket.com.
• This role is field-based inside Alaba Market. You will move from store to store onboarding sellers, registering their businesses on the platform, and supervising product uploads.
• You will manage a team. You will work with clear monthly onboarding and revenue targets. Your performance will be measured by numbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Seller Acquisition: Visit physical stores daily within Alaba Market and onboard new sellers onto alabamarket.com.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise onboarding officers working under you. Assign daily store coverage targets.
• Target Management: Meet and exceed monthly seller registration targets and product upload targets.
• Product Upload Oversight: Ensure accurate product listings, pricing, descriptions, and images are uploaded correctly.
• Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with shop owners and key dealers within the market.
• Performance Tracking: Submit daily and weekly reports showing number of stores visited, sellers onboarded, and products uploaded.
• Platform Education: Educate sellers on how alabamarket.com works and how it increases their sales reach.
• Quality Control: Monitor your team to ensure no fake accounts, wrong pricing, or poor product uploads.

What Success Looks Like

• Consistent onboarding of new verified sellers every month.
• Growth in total live products on the platform.
• Strong market presence of alabamarket.com inside Alaba.
• A disciplined, accountable field team under your leadership.

Key Requirements

• Location Requirement: Must reside within Ojo or very close to Alaba International Market.
• Experience: Minimum 1year experience in sales management, field marketing, or marketplace onboarding.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage a field team and drive performance with clear targets.
• Communication Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. Must be confident speaking with business owners.
• Digital Skills: Comfortable using smartphones, product upload systems, Google Sheets, and basic reporting tools.
• Target-Driven: Must have experience working with strict monthly performance targets.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
