Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager
Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for end-to-end recruitment of technology and digital talents to support the growth and innovation agenda of the e-commerce platform.
This role focuses on attracting, assessing, and hiring high-quality technological professionals.
The incumbent will partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, build strong talent pipelines, and deliver an excellent candidate experience while ensuring time-to-hire and quality-of-hire targets are achieved.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants.
This role also requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for ODA Platform Company including ourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding support.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans, technical skill requirements, and team expansion roadmaps.
Proactively source applicants using job portals such as LinkedIn, Hot Nigeria Jobs, technology communities, referrals, and other channels.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive candidates for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
Conduct initial technical screening interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit before shortlisting candidates to hiring managers.
Collaborate with hiring managers to design competency-based interview questions and structured evaluation processes.
Ensure recruitment KPIs are met, including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, candidate experience, and offer acceptance rate.
Strengthen employer branding initiatives targeting technology communities through career fairs, technology meetups, and social media campaigns.
Maintain accurate recruitment data, tools, reports, and dashboards to support workforce planning and decision-making.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment laws, and data privacy regulations throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Professional HR certifications are an advantage.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 2 years specializing in technology or e-commerce recruitment.
Proven experience in sourcing passive candidates through professional networks and technology platforms.
Exposure to digital, platform, or application-based businesses is preferred.
Proven track record on high retention rate
Knowledge & Competencies:
Strong understanding of e-commerce and tech platform functions, methodologies, and practices.
Ability to assess technical resumes and identify relevant project experience and technical stack alignment.
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
Excellent interviewing, probing, and behavioral assessment skills.
Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret recruitment metrics.
Strong negotiation skills.
High level of digital literacy and familiarity with online sourcing tools.
