Job Title: Strategy Assistant (Executive Office)

Job Description

  • We are looking for a highly organised, analytical and execution-focused Strategy Assistant to join the firm as part of the Executive Office.
  • This role works directly with the Managing Partner, supporting strategic planning, operational coordination and executive effectiveness across the firm.
  • The successful candidate will help translate leadership priorities into structured action plans, ensure follow-through across teams, and support the Managing Partner in maintaining focus on high-impact initiatives.
  • The position sits at the centre of the firm’s operating rhythm and requires structured thinking, attention to detail, discretion and strong communication capability.
  • It combines elements of strategy support, executive coordination, performance tracking and project management. This is a developmental role for an individual with strong potential to grow into a future Chief of Staff position. Cultural alignment, maturity and professionalism are essential.

Key Responsibilities of this role includeS, but are not limited to
Strategic Planning Support:

  •  Support the Managing Partner in preparing and refining strategic materials.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and growth initiatives.
  • Translate strategic discussions into structured action plans and timelines.
  • Assist in monitoring progress against firm-wide objectives.
  • Prepare structured briefing materials for strategic meetings and reviews.

Executive Coordination & Leadership Support:

  • Support prioritisation of the Managing Partner’s agenda and meeting cadence.
  • Act as gatekeeper, managing information flow between the Managing Partner,teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Support calendar management, meeting preparation, and follow-through on actionitems.
  • Prepare high-quality briefing notes ahead of internal and external engagements.
  • Draft memos, internal communications and executive correspondence.
  • Track follow-up actions from meetings and ensure timely execution across teams.
  • Facilitate information flow between the Managing Partner and internal stakeholders.

Operational Execution & Project Coordination:

  • Support cross-functional initiatives across Wealth Management, Investment Bankingand Corporate functions.
  • Develop project trackers and accountability matrices.
  • Monitor initiative progress and escalate delays or risks appropriately.
  • Assist in improving internal workflows and reporting processes.
  • Coordinate preparation of materials for leadership meetings and quarterly reviews.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Support preparation of monthly and quarterly performance dashboards.
  • Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends and performance gaps.
  • Assist in budget tracking and variance analysis.
  • Help maintain a pulse on employee engagement, morale, and productivity.
  • Help maintain structured KPI tracking systems across departments.

Organisational Alignment & Governance Support:

  • Support initiatives that strengthen collaboration across departments.
  • Assist in reinforcing a performance-driven and values-aligned culture.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting standards remain high.
  • Support preparation for partner, investor or regulatory engagements where required

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in business management,consulting, or operations within afinancial services or strategy-driven environment.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teamspreferred.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to presentideas clearly and concisely.
  • High emotional intelligence, discretionand sound judgement.
  • Excellent ability to speak and writeEnglish.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint &Word.
  • Proficiency in macOS Keynote,Numbers and Pages – a plus.
  • Diligent and meticulous, with excellentattention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and projectcoordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Highly adaptable, able to deal withambiguity and change, willing to learnand grow in the role.
  • Able to handle confidential matterswith absolute discretion.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team withminimal supervision.
  • Proactive, dependable and disciplinedin execution.
  • Good decision-making capacity.
  • Strong understanding of financialservices industry dynamics preferred.
  • Must be mature, professional andreliable.
