Job Title: Senior Performance Marketer
Location: Lagos
Description
We’re looking for a Senior Performance Marketer to drive efficient, scalable customer acquisition across paid channels.
This role sits within the broader Marketing team and works closely with Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Communications and Creative to translate insights into high-impact growth plans.
This is a senior individual contributor role, suited to someone who can plan and execute complex work, use data to inform decisions, and contribute positively to team culture.
Role Overview
As a Senior Performance Marketer, you’ll own the end-to-end execution of acquisition initiatives, from planning and experimentation through to optimisation and reporting.
You’ll be expected to understand how different aspects of the marketing ecosystem work together - channels, creative, audiences, data and product signals - and use that understanding to drive strong business outcomes.
You’ll also play an active role in sharing knowledge, improving ways of working, and helping the team adapt as priorities evolve.
Responsibilities
Plan execution & delivery:
:Develop clear acquisition plans that align with broader business and marketing goals.
Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, ensuring campaigns are delivered to a high standard and on time.
Understand how creative, channel strategy, targeting and measurement come together to drive overall results.
Incorporate input from Product Marketing, Creative, Analytics and other stakeholders into decision-making.
Performance marketing & analysis:
Execute and optimise acquisition campaigns across paid social, search, programmatic and other relevant channels.
Analyse campaign and channel performance data to identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement.
Make data-informed recommendations to improve efficiency, volume and user quality.
Support App Store Optimisation (ASO) initiatives to improve visibility and conversion across app stores.
Experimentation & adaptability:
Design and run structured experiments across creatives, audiences, bidding strategies and formats.
Work with teammates to test and adopt better ways of working as the business evolves.
Adapt plans quickly in response to performance signals, platform changes or shifting priorities.
Stay up to date with industry trends, platform updates and regulatory changes relevant to performance marketing.
Connection & collaboration:
Work closely with Creative and Communications teams to ensure performance activity is aligned with broader messaging and audience strategy.
Tailor channel and audience approaches in increasingly nuanced ways as insights deepen.
Share learnings, best practices and insights with the wider team.
Contribute to a culture of openness, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
7+ years experience in performance marketing, growth or a related role.
Proven ability to plan and execute multi-faceted marketing initiatives that deliver against business goals.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using campaign or channel data to inform decisions.
Solid understanding of paid acquisition fundamentals, including targeting, bidding, creative testing and funnel optimisation.
Experience using mobile app analytics or attribution tools such as Mixpanel, AppsFlyer or similar.
Ability to tailor creative and channel approaches to different audiences and objectives.
Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and incorporating multiple perspectives into your work.
Curious, adaptable and proactive, with a desire to keep learning and improving.
