TAG Energy is an integrated service company offering a comprehensive range of oilfield products and support services in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Analyst

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Job Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in offshore service delivery.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including offshore operations, logistics, and QHSE, to gather information and implement solutions.
• Support the planning and execution of offshore operational activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist in forecasting operational needs, including resource allocation, equipment, and personnel for offshore engagements.
• Monitor industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to offshore oil and gas operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures for enhanced performance.

General Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in operations analysis, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex operational data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas upstream operations, including offshore service delivery.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with QHSE standards and practices in the oil and gas sector.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
