Job Title: Partnership Officer

Position Summary
The PartnershipOfficer will lead the development and execution of LHF’s partnership and resource mobilization strategy. The role requires strong grant acquisition capacity, donor stewardship expertise, corporate engagement skills, and strategic communication competence.
The officer will work closely with executive leadership, programs, finance, and communications teams to ensure that partnership engagements translate into measurable programmatic impact.
Develop and implement a comprehensive Partnership & Resource Mobilization Strategy.
Identify and map funding opportunities aligned with LHF’s strategic pillars.
Lead grant prospecting, proposal development, and submission processes.
Build and maintain a diversified funding pipeline.
Design innovative financing models and partnership structures.
Donor & Institutional Engagement:
Cultivate and manage relationships with institutional donors and corporate partners.
Lead high-level stakeholder engagement meetings and presentations.
Develop tailored value propositions for prospective partners.
Ensure consistent donor stewardship and engagement tracking.
Proposal Development & Grant Management:
Coordinate high-quality proposal writing and submission processes.
Develop concept notes, budgets, logical frameworks, and results frameworks.
Ensure compliance with donor requirements and reporting standards.
Monitor grant performance and ensure deliverables are met.
Corporate & Private Sector Partnerships:
Develop corporate partnership frameworks aligned with CSR and ESG priorities.
Negotiate partnership agreements and MoUs.
Design employee engagement and corporate volunteering models.
Track partnership ROI and impact metrics.
Communications & Positioning:
Collaborate with communications to develop impact reports and donor briefs.
Strengthen LHF’s institutional profile with development partners.
Represent LHF at conferences, forums, and high-level engagements.
Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to donor compliance requirements.
Support due diligence processes and institutional documentation readiness.
Strengthen partnership governance frameworks.
Maintain accurate records of agreements, grants, and donor communications.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:
Develop partnership performance dashboards.
Track KPIs related to funding acquisition and partner engagement.
Produce quarterly partnership performance reports.
Use data analytics to refine partnership strategies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Public Administration, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 5–8 years progressive experience in partnership development, fundraising, or donor relations within an NGO or development organization.
Proven track record of securing grants from institutional donors.
Strong understanding of development funding landscapes (local and international).
Experience working with multilateral agencies, corporate CSR units, or foundations.
Strong financial literacy and budget development skills.
Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
