KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, a private University licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in November 2016, is a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-sectarian institution. It is situated at Km 18, along the new Ibadan-Oyo Express Road. The Vision of the University is "to be a world-class Institution for excellence in nurturing graduates to meet the socio-economic needs of a knowledge-driven economy". Its Mission statement is "to nurture graduates with the competency to help elevate our country to global reckoning".
The University is established to be a centre of academic excellence committed to the achievement of accelerated development through research and manpower development. It seeks to relate its activities to the cultural, technological, social, and economic needs of the people of Nigeria.
The Governing Council of KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, hereby announces that the position of Vice-Chancellor will become vacant effective 01 August, 2026. Description
The Vice-Chancellor of KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, serves as the University's Chief Executive, Chief Academic, and Chief Accounting Officer.
He is the Chairman of the Senate and other statutory bodies.
He serves as the link between the Governing Council and the University Community.
Reporting to the Governing Council, the Vice-Chancellor provides strategic leadership, promotes academic and administrative excellence, and ensures financial sustainability, with the goal of positioning the University as a centre of excellence in teaching. learning, research, innovation, and community service.
He/she shall provide overall administrative leadership and supervision of the University, bearing responsibility to the Council for maintaining peace, law and order, and fostering operational efficiency across all functions of the University.
Requirements
The Candidate for the post must possess a good University education from recognized University and should be of impeccable character, a good manager of human and material resources.
Have at least fifteen (15) years of unbroken teaching and research experience in the University system.
Have held the rank of Professor for a minimum of eight (8) years as of the date of this advertisement.
Possess scholarly and academic credentials that demonstrate continuous scholarship after his/her promotion to the rank of Professor locally, nationally, and internationally.
Have a clear vision of the development and growth of the University.
He/She must also have been a recipient of research grants as well as teaching or research collaborations with international institutions.
Have a good grasp of information and communication technology skills, and appreciate its significance in the contemporary knowledge industry.
Exhibit demonstrable entrepreneurial drive and ability to attract the much-needed funds and mobilize other resources for the development of the University.
Be free from any form of financial embarrassment.
Enjoy certified sound physical and mental health.
Be not more than sixty-five (65) years of age by 01 August, 2026.

Salary and Conditions of Service
The remuneration and other conditions of service are competitive and are as applicable to the post of Vice Chancellor in Nigerian Public Universities and as may be determined from time to time by the Governing Council and the Board of Trustees of the University, as appropriate.
Tenure
The Vice-Chancellor shall hold office for a term of five (5) years, subject to consideration for another term after an appropriate performance evaluation by the council.
