Job Title: Disbursement Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• As our Disbursement Officer, you are the "Last Mile" champion. You are the final gatekeeper who ensures that every vehicle leaving our custody is safe, legal, and ready for the road.
• This is a high-stakes, high-impact role where meticulous attention to detail meets seamless logistics.
• You will be the bridge between the assembly line and the client’s driveway, ensuring that the "StaggaPay Experience" starts with a perfect handover.

What You’ll Be Doing
Ǫuality Control G Verification:

• The Eagle Eye: Conduct final audits to ensure all vehicles have successfully completed their Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI). If it’s not perfect, it doesn’t move.
• Identity Check: Physically verify that engine and chassis numbers match the documentation exactly. No room for error here.
• Tech Integrity: Ensure tracking devices are not only fitted but are transmitting data accurately to our systems.

Regulatory G Compliance Management:

• Road Ready: Coordinate with partners to ensure every vehicle is fully insured and registered with the relevant authorities before disbursement.
• Documentation: Collate and organise all vehicle papers (registration documents, insurance certificates, contact names and mobile numbers, welcome letter, after sales network details, etc.) to be handed over to the client or filed internally.

Logistics G Warehouse Coordination:

• The Conductor: Manage the movement of assets from final assembly to warehouse storage, and eventually to dealers or direct delivery points.
• Streamlining: Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain to ensure vehicles are moved quickly and safely.

The Grand Handover:

• First Impressions: Lead professional vehicle handover sessions with new clients, explaining vehicle features and maintenance.
• Customer Delight: Act as the face of StaggaPay during the disbursement, ensuring the client feels supported and celebrated.

Systems G Data Management:

• Data Integrity: Input all disbursement-related data into the Loan Origination System (LOS) with 100% accuracy.
• Process Ownership: Take full accountability for the end-to-end disbursement workflow, identifying areas for automation or improvement.

• Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable navigating Loan Origination Systems and asset-tracking software.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 – 4 years in logistics, fleet management, auto-finance, or operations (experience with vehicle dealerships is a major plus).
• Knowledge: Understanding of the Nigerian vehicle registration and insurance processes.
• Grit: This is a startup environment. You need to be a self-starter who can build processes while executing them.
