Job Title: Inventory / Account Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Inventory / Accounts Officer to manage inventory records, monitor stock movement, and support basic accounting and documentation processes.
• The successful candidate will help ensure accurate stock control, proper documentation of inventory transactions, and reconciliation between physical stock and financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels regularly.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring quantities match purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Track stock movement and update inventory systems or spreadsheets accordingly.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery records.
• Prepare inventory and stock reports for management review.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or obsolete items in the warehouse.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items for easy retrieval and control.
• Support basic accounting documentation related to inventory transactions.
• Inventory and accounting officers typically maintain stock records, track inventory movement, reconcile physical stock with system records, and prepare inventory reports to ensure accuracy and control of goods within an organization.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of an OND or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in inventory management, stock control, or accounting.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and record keeping.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

Salary
N85,000 Monthly.
