Summary

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with expatriate or international families, demonstrate excellent childcare skills, and possess the maturity, discretion, and professionalism required in private households.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and age-appropriate care for children in a private household setting.
• Supervise children’s daily routines including feeding, bathing, dressing, and bedtime schedules.
• Plan and implement engaging educational and recreational activities that support cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Organize creative play, arts and crafts, storytelling, reading sessions, and outdoor activities.
• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain children's hygiene, safety, and overall well-being at all times.
• Assist with school readiness, homework support, and developmental milestones where appropriate.
• Maintain tidy and organized children’s spaces including bedrooms, play areas, and wardrobes.
• Handle child-related household tasks such as children’s laundry, bottle washing, and toy organization.
• Accompany children to school runs, appointments, and recreational activities when required.
• Provide regular updates to parents regarding children's routines, development, and well-being.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion within the household.
• Travel with the family when required.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years professional nanny experience in a private household.
• Previous experience working with expatriate, diplomatic, or international families is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of child safety, nutrition, and developmental stages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create structured routines and stimulating activities for children.
• High level of patience, warmth, and emotional intelligence.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and highly discreet.
• Ability to work in a structured and high-standard household environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience caring for toddlers, preschool, or school-age children.
• Background in early childhood education or child development.
• Strong cultural awareness and adaptability.
• Ability to support structured routines and international family lifestyles.
