Job Title: Motion Designer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full time

Job Description

• This role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, branding consistency, and audience engagement across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns, social media, websites, and events
• Develop animated explainer videos and promotional content for AI, policy, and innovation programs
• Collaborate with the design, communications, and media teams to translate concepts into engaging visual narratives
• Edit short-form and long-form video content when required
• Ensure brand consistency across all animated assets
• Stay updated with motion design trends, tools, and emerging creative technologies.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Motion Design or a related role
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D tools is an advantage
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animated videos, and digital storytelling projects
• Ability to interpret briefs and deliver under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualities

• Experience working with tech, innovation, education, or development-focused organizations
• Understanding of digital storytelling for policy, advocacy, and youth-focused audiences
• Creative thinker with strong conceptual development skills.
