Role Overview
The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle for fintech and financial infrastructure projects delivered by Strivolabs.
This role bridges business strategy, product design, and technical implementation, ensuring that client requirements are translated into clear product specifications and successfully delivered by the engineering team.
The Technical Product Manager will work closely with:
Engineering teams and technical architects
Financial services clients
Implementation and integration partners
Internal delivery teams to design and launch secure, scalable financial technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product Leadership:
Define product strategy and roadmap for digital platforms and financial technology systems
Translate client needs and business goals into structured product requirements
Define user journeys and product features for digital financial services platforms
Manage product backlogs and prioritise features based on impact and feasibility.
Technical Coordination:
Work closely with engineering teams to guide the development of platform features
Support technical architecture discussions alongside the Technical Architect
Define API and system integration requirements
Ensure systems are designed for scalability, security and reliability
Stakeholder Management:
Facilitate collaboration between client teams and internal engineering teams
Manage communication and expectation alignment across stakeholders
Provide regular updates on product progress and development milestones.
Product Delivery:
Track development progress and ensure the timely delivery of product features
Identify and resolve blockers during the development lifecycle
Ensure solutions meet client requirements and quality standards
Support implementation, pilot rollouts, and production launches.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Business Analysis
Experience working on fintech, banking, or financial technology products
Experience managing API-driven or platform-based systems
Experience working closely with engineering teams on complex technical products
Technical Understanding:
The candidate should have strong familiarity with:
APIs and system integrations
Software architecture principles
Cloud infrastructure environments
Financial systems and digital platforms.
The role does not require coding, but candidates must be comfortable discussing technical implementation with engineers.
Product Management Skills:
Product roadmap development
Agile product management and sprint planning
Backlog management and prioritisation
Writing clear product specifications
Stakeholder and client management
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Strong structured thinking and analytical ability
Ability to translate complex business processes into technical solutions
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with:
Fintech companies or financial institutions
Digital lending or payments systems
Core banking integrations
Financial APIs and platform ecosystems will be highly advantageous.
What Success Looks Like in This Role:
Within the first six months, the Technical Product Manager will:
Successfully led the delivery of key fintech platform projects
Ensure strong collaboration between engineering teams and client stakeholders
Deliver scalable and secure digital financial systems
Establish strong product documentation and delivery processes across projects.
Requirements Definition & Business Analysis:
Gather and document product requirements from stakeholders and clients
Translate business processes into functional and technical specifications
Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation
Create process flows, system diagrams, and integration requirements
Ensure requirements align with financial service workflows and regulatory considerations.
