KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis (TB), still the deadliest infectious disease in the world. KNCV is an international center of expertise for TB control that promotes effective, efficient, innovative and sustainable TB control strategies in a national and international context.  We are an organization of passionate TB professionals, including doctors, researchers, training experts, nurses and epidemiologists. We aim to stop the spread of the worldwide epidemic of TB and to prevent the further spread of drug-resistant TB.

We are recruiting to fill the position below: 

Job Title: Project Driver

Location: Rivers
Job Type: Full-time

Purpose of Job

• The project driver is expected to support project logistics. The project driver is responsible for ensuring the safe logistics of staff and project commodities.

Job Description

• Convey project staff to their destinations within/outside the primary project location.
• Daily inspection of the vehicle.
• Keep the vehicle clean at all times.
• Keep record and an updated Vehicle Logbook.
• Register fuel purchase and consumption in the logbook and on purchase receipts.
• Maintain office vehicle and report to the Logistics Officer
• Submit a monthly car maintenance report to the Logistics Officer
• Monitor abd support Update vehicle particulars.
• Collect/drop visitors from/at the airport.
• Ensure the safety of office staff/consultants (and persons traveling for and on behalf of KNCV) while traveling with the official vehicle.
• Perform other additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Qualification: SSCE / ND
• Excellent in written and oral use of English Language.
• Valid driver’s license for relevant vehicles
• Minimum of 5 years' driver experience.
• Able to work autonomously and organize own schedule to accomplish the expected tasks.
• Auto mechanics knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team.
• Integrity and transparency are essential for this position.
• Capable of working well under pressure.
