We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Front Desk / Reservation & Customer Service Officer
We are seeking a polished, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk, Reservation & Customer Service Officer.
The ideal candidate will be the face of our brand, responsible for creating outstanding first impressions, managing reservations efficiently, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, and ensure a seamless and memorable experience from start to finish.
Handle all reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms, ensuring accurate entry and management of booking details in the property management system.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues with tact and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally, take accurate messages, and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Handle guest billing, process payments accurately, issue invoices and receipts, and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and balanced.
Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their overall experience.
Liaise effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve any operational issues.
Maintain accurate guest records, update booking systems, prepare daily reports on occupancy and arrivals, and assist with administrative tasks as required.
Actively promote upselling of hotel services, amenities, and special packages to guests to enhance their stay and maximize revenue.
Remain vigilant about guest and property security, follow established safety protocols, and report any suspicious activity or incidents to management promptly.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in front office operations or customer service are an advantage.
A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in front desk, reservations, or customer service roles within the hotel and hospitality industry.
Professional demeanor with exceptional grooming, poise, and presentation suitable for a luxury hospitality environment.
Proficiency in using Property Management Systems (PMS) or similar reservation software.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional local or international languages is an added advantage.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts, as required in the hospitality industry.
Female gender is preferable
